The Twisted Broom is a fully immersive magical bar in the heart of Doncaster, which means, we are a Yorkshire Based company and we LOVE tea. As any Yorkshire person should.
Join us for a magical afternoon tea, enjoy a selection of spellbinding sandwiches, charming cakes, and tantalising sweet treats with unlimited Tea, with various flavours available, or your standard brew.
But the magic doesn’t stop there…
We will also be treating you to some tea leaf reading. Follow the instructions from one of the founders of the Twisted Broom, Mary Thorncloak, and see what your future holds for you.
This experience can last up to an hour and 45 minutes.

Every booking party must include at least one adult aged 18+.
The Twisted Broom is at Enigma Rooms Doncaster, 37 Hall Gate, Doncaster, DN1 3NR. It is on the first floor and is accessed by stairs only.

A Magical Beginning
At Enigma Rooms, we’ve always been huge fans of Harry Potter and other fantastical wizarding worlds. We’ve read the books, watched the films, and played the games — but most of all, we love the art of storytelling. Every escape room we create is about stepping out of reality and into a brand-new adventure.
It was this passion that inspired us to imagine our very own magical world, centred around Amgine and Mary Thorncloak. Retiring from their former lives in 1637, the Thorncloaks set out to build a sanctuary for witches, wizards, and magical beings of all kinds.
While Amgine devoted his days to crafting and brewing potions, Mary enchanted guests with her famous Afternoon Teas. Her delicate sandwiches, sweet treats, and homemade jams became the talk of Yorkshire, drawing magical families from miles around. Yet Mary was more than a talented cook — she was also a gifted seer. With nothing more than a teacup, she could glimpse the past, present, and future of those who visited her table.
Nearly 400 years later, we continue the Thorncloaks’ legacy at The Twisted Broom, where we invite you to experience the wonder of our Magical Afternoon Tea for yourself.
