What are Escape Rooms?? Escape rooms have become more popular over the last few years, with new games opening up all the time, but for those who have never played an escape room before, we thought we would tell you a little bit about them!
What actually are they?
Escape rooms are themed rooms where you look for clues and solve puzzles in order to escape from the room. Sometimes the goal is to escape the situation, and sometimes its to complete a specific task, for example stealing a diamond. There are a huge number of themes on offer, from escaping a crashing spaceship to going down the rabbit hole to Wonderland, there’s something out there for everyone!
Who are escape rooms for?
Escape rooms can be enjoyed by anyone! Whether your 15 or 70 there’s something everyone can get involved in. Most escape rooms are for 2-6 players but some companies offer games for larger groups too. Escape rooms are great for all sorts of events: date nights, a family day out, corporate team building, hen/stag do’s and birthdays!
How long do they take?
In most escape rooms you have up to an hour to complete the objective/escape the room. If you complete a game quick enough you might even make it onto the leader board!
What are live avatar games?
Live avatar games can be played from the comfort of your own home! Played over zoom, you control an avatar inside one of the escape rooms, the avatar will follow your instructions and be your hands and eyes while you find clues and solve puzzles to help them escape!
What are ‘online anytime’ games?
Online anytime games are a digital recreation of our real life escape rooms which you can play anytime!
