All Enigma Rooms activities and experiences require at least one adult (18+) in the booking party.

Our rule of having an adult (18+) as part of the booking party is non-negotiable. This is due to our fire regulations and insurance.
The mimimum amount of players per room is 2, and the maximum is 6 players.
There are no exceptions, this is due to our fire regulations and insurance, and we can’t allow any more than 6 bodies per escape room.
For larger groups, we suggest you split the group and play two (or more) escape rooms at the same time (subject to availability).
Other Enigma Rooms activities can accommodate larger numbers, such as Axe Throwing, Interactive Darts and Potion Making, but please note not all venues have these activities.
It is payment on booking for all activates and experiences. Unfortunately, we don’t take deposits, nor can you book now and pay later.
Please be aware that Enigma Rooms are live events and therefore we cannot accept refunds, cancellations or last-minute reschedules once a booking is confirmed.
Enigma Rooms requires more than 48 hours notice to reschedule bookings.
Groups that are more than 10 minutes late for their booking will have their booking cancelled without refund.
Players must arrive 15 minutes before your booking so you can sign in, briefed and ready to play the room on time.

There are only a limited number of timeslots slots each day for last minute bookings and walk-ins. It is advisable to call ahead of time to ensure we have space and staffing to cover your bookings if wishing to book on the day, we cannot guarantee we’ll be able to get you in.

We have TWO wheelchair friendly escape rooms in our Hull location, Dracula’s Tomb and Escape the Chocolate Factory, although for both rooms there are items lower down that require assistance.

You are never officially ‘locked’ in a room, and can leave the room at any time, and with ease should there be an emergency.
Absolutely! Our live escape rooms and other activities such as axe throwing, oche club and potion making experiences are perfect for team building exercises and group fun like birthdays, stag as well as hen do’s and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our customers.

Yes, it’s incredibly safe. All throwers receive a safety brief, and technique training.
We also use Franciscan axes, which is a type of axe where the handle isn’t stuck to the axe head, meaning if you throw it wrong, the axe will fall to the ground, rather than bounce back towards you, meaning, it’s the safest axe to throw.
Axe Throwing requires a certain amount of preparation for the venue, and a trained member of staff is required to run the booking, because of this we STRONGLY recommended that you book in advance or at the very least call us on 03333 661002 to check we can cover your booking.

Make two delicious and drinkable potions in the most spellbinding way. The potions DO NOT have to be alcoholic, which means any one can enjoy this experience. Depending on how quickly you decided to make your potions, this experience can last up to 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Have a magical afternoon with our tasty treats and indulgent selection of sandwiches, washed down with unlimited cups of bewitching brews. Also try your hand at a spot of tea leaf reading and see if you have the inner-eye.
No, not at all. All our potions can be made with or without alcohol so EVERYONE of all ages can enjoy this magical experience.
All our experiences in the Twisted Broom are tailored for a wide range of ages, however we would recommend for ages 8+ for the potion classes, as it is a self guided experience and it does involve a great deal of concentration.
Absolutely you can! People rent the space for all kinds of things including birthday parties, hen-dos, baby showers, networking events or just a large gathering.
