Hostage

You and your team have been taken hostage and placed in confinement, you only have 60 minutes to escape before you are taken for interrogation! This room is great for families with kids although it is dark to start with.

Arabian Nights

For years, you have travelled the globe collecting ancient objects and artefacts for the British Museum. Then one day, you hear a story that couldn’t possibly be true.

Ward 13

You’ve woken up on Ward 13, and only one person has ever escaped alive! The clock is ticking, and you have only 60 minutes to escape before being trapped here forever. You’re about to find out that Ward 13 is otherwise known as The Morgue.

Is there an Age Limit?

All our activities and experiences require at least one adult (18+) in the booking party.

The minimum age limit for our activities are:

Axe Throwing: 10+

Escape Rooms: (recommended) 8+

Interactive Darts: (recommended) 8+

Twisted Broom Experiences: (recommended) 8+

Our rule of having an adult (18+) as part of the booking party is non-negotiable. This is due to our fire regulations and insurance.

How many people are allowed in an escape room?

The minimum number of guests per room is two, and the maximum is six. Because of our fire regulations and insurance, we cannot allow more than six guests in an escape room. For larger groups, we suggest splitting the group and playing two or more escape rooms at the same time (subject to availability). Other Enigma Rooms activities can accommodate larger groups, such as Axe Throwing, Interactive Darts and Potion Making, but please note that these activities are not available at every venue.

Cancellations or Reschedules

Please be aware that Enigma Rooms are live events and therefore we cannot accept refunds, cancellations or last-minute reschedules once a booking is confirmed.

Enigma Rooms requires more than 48 hours’ notice to reschedule bookings.

Groups that are more than 10 minutes late for their booking will have their booking cancelled without refund.

What happens after I book?

It is your responsibility to check the information is correct on your booking confirmation, and that you have read all the information on that email. Didn’t get an email, check your spam/junk folder, if it’s still not there, call us on 03333 661002.

Guests must arrive 10-15 minutes before your booking so you can sign in and be briefed, and into the room on time. Late arrival may results in your booking being cancelled without refunds.

How much would it cost and how can I book the tickets?

Our prices will vary per person depending on the size of the group and activity. Bookings can be made online; click HERE to start that process. All activities require a minimum group of two guests. Maximum numbers may vary depending on the activity and venue. There are only a limited number of time slots available each day for last-minute bookings and walk-ins. It is advisable to call ahead to ensure we have space and staff available. We cannot guarantee availability for same-day bookings. Call us: 0333 366 1002 Calls cost no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02) and must be included in inclusive minutes and discount schemes in the same way, according to Ofcom. We offer an exclusive 10% discount to groups of students, NHS staff and Armed Forces personnel. Please call 0333 366 1002 to book using this discount. On the day, one guest in the group must bring valid ID, such as an SU or NHS card.

Our Escape Rooms Safety

Our customers’ safety is paramount. We have taken advice from a number of organisations and taken a number of measures to prevent accidents occurring. We also give a safety/game briefing before ALL Enigma Rooms games in which we point out that our rooms have easy to use fire escapes that are clearly marked, and all rooms are easy to get out at any time for emergencies.

When do I have to pay?

Full payment is required when booking all activities and experiences. Unfortunately, we don’t take deposits, and bookings cannot be reserved without payment.
