With 8 different game modes, you can go head-to-head with your group in exciting challenges like:
Quacks Throwing – take aim at some rubber ducks
Fruit Smash – hit the fruit to create a fruit punch
Viking Attack – defend your village against the last Viking
Zombie – fight off the undead one axe at a time
Battle – Spelling out the word, one letter at a time

Urban axe throwing has landed in Doncaster – now it’s your turn to take aim.
You get an hour on your lane(s), and you can throw as many axes in that hour as you wish, we don’t limit the amount of axes.
You will get a short safety brief before you throw, and some technique training before you get to choose your targets, and then destroy them.
Due to insurance, the minimum age for Axe Throwing in Doncaster is 10. Please note, anyone under the age of 16 MUST have an adult with them as part of the booking party.
The price for axe throwing depends heavily on the amount of people who are playing, and are priced for up to 6 players per axe throwing lane.

No, but sort of yes. When you book the lane, that is your own lane and for your booking only, however we have four lanes at Enigma Rooms Doncaster, meaning if other people book those lanes, they will be in the same area as you, but not the same lane.
Not too difficult. Everyone is different, but usually it can take 5-10 minutes to get the technique correct, and it doesn’t require a great deal of power either. There are different throw techniques, and we will teach you the technique that works best for you.
There is a spectator’s area, so if you have people who don’t wish to throw, but do wish to watch, that is fine. We would prefer to know in advance if people are attending as spectators so we can ensure there is space, but usually it’s fine.
No open toe shoes or hooded tops, this is down to safety, and anyone wearing these items will not be allowed to throw. We recommend comfortable clothing, perhaps something you’d wear to go for a long walk on a mid spring afternoon.
**PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT VIKING AXE THROWING IS A LIVE EVENT AND THEREFORE WE CANNOT ACCEPT REFUNDS. THIS INCLUDES CANCELLATIONS OR LAST MINUTE RESCHEDULES ONCE A BOOKING IS CONFIRMED. PLEASE ARRIVE 10-15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR BOOKING SO YOU CAN SIGN IN AND BE BRIEFED. GROUPS THAT ARE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE WILL HAVE THEIR BOOKING CANCELLED WITHOUT REFUND.

HEALTH and SAFETY NOTICE – Please note that due to health and safety reasons, we are unable to allow intoxicated/drunk players. We STRONGLY recommend that you don’t NOT drink any alcohol beforehand. Should our marshals believe you are behaving in an unsafe manner, you’ll be relegated to a spectator role for the remainder of the session, and no refund shall be given.
All our activities and experiences require at least one adult (18+) in the booking party.

Our rule of having an adult (18+) as part of the booking party is non-negotiable. This is due to our fire regulations and insurance.
The mimimum amount of players per room is 2, and the maximum is 6 players.
There are no exceptions, this is due to our fire regulations and insurance, and we can’t allow any more than 6 bodies per escape room.
For larger groups, we suggest you split the group and play two (or more) escape rooms at the same time (subject to availability).
Other Enigma Rooms activities can accommodate larger numbers, such as Axe Throwing, Interactive Darts and Potion Making, but please note not all venues have these activities.
Please be aware that Enigma Rooms are live events and therefore we cannot accept refunds, cancellations or last-minute reschedules once a booking is confirmed.
Enigma Rooms requires more than 48 hours notice to reschedule bookings.
Groups that are more than 10 minutes late for their booking will have their booking cancelled without refund.

Players must arrive 10-15 minutes before your booking so you can sign in and be briefed, and into the room on time. Late arrival may results in your booking being cancelled without refunds.

All activities require a minimum group of 2 people, maximum numbers may vary depending on activity and venue.
There are only a limited number of timeslots slots each day for last minute bookings and walk-ins. It is advisable to call ahead of time to ensure we have space and staffing to cover your bookings if wishing to book on the day, we cannot guarantee we’ll be able to get you in.

Our customers’ safety is paramount. We have taken advice from a number of organisations and taken a number of measures to prevent accidents occurring. We also give a safety/game briefing before ALL Enigma Rooms games in which we point out that our rooms have easy to use fire escapes that are clearly marked, and all rooms are easy to get out at any time for emergencies.
It is payment on booking for all activates and experiences. Unfortunately, we don’t take deposits, nor can you book now and pay later.
