Back in a magical time, the Brothers Grimm were the guardians of the land of fairy-tales, but something is wrong. The brothers are nowhere to be found and the stories are in disarray.
There are two versions of this game for you to choose:
Grimm Up North – Fix The Tales
This is a 60 minute experience
A traditional ‘can you escape within the hour’ game. Players have to fix three famous fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm before the time runs out.
Grimm Up North – Happily Ever Afters
This is a 75 minute experience
The original game as mentioned above PLUS, plenty of collection style puzzles…in fact, more puzzles than you can shake a stick at.

Due to the length and complexity of this game, this room is not suitable for groups of children, even when supervised. For this, we advise Escape From Wonderland.

Our Wakefield location is at 8-10 Teall Street, WF1 1PT, right next to the Cathedral on the Precinct. If you’re driving, the nearest parking is at The Ridings Shopping Centre.
Our games are aimed at a range of ages.
Escape from Wonderland and Murder Motel dont have any age restrictions*, although Murder Motel may including theming and context not suitable for younger players.
Grimm Up North is a real challenge and therefore is aimed at players 12 and over*.
SEANCE Classic is an 18+ ONLY game. This is a very strict rule and is non-negotiable.
SEANCE Mild is classed as a horror game containing mild jump scares, flickering lights and brief periods of darkness, but with no live actor. Therefore it is available for players 12+ (although not appropriate for groups of children)
*PLEASE NOTE – ALL our rooms require an adult as part of the booking party for anyone under the age of 16.
**PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT ENIGMA ROOMS ARE LIVE EVENTS AND THEREFORE WE CANNOT ACCEPT REFUNDS. THIS INCLUDES CANCELLATIONS OR LAST MINUTE RESCHEDULES ONCE A BOOKING IS CONFIRMED.
