Winter, 1785. There isn’t much shelter for you, turned away at ever door you have knocked at, met with suspicion or silence. Until now…an open door, a candle flickering…warmth. You step inside…you’re in a barbershop. A story comes to mind of a Demon Barber in London…but that’s London, not Pontefract, you’re safe…or are you? The door slams shut. The barber could return at any moment. Was it all rumours? Is there a barber that would turns his customers into victims? You don’t wish to stay and find out. Time to escape.
