Did you know, that Enigma Rooms has five locations, all housing completely different escape rooms that are completely unique to each other, we have a space adventure in Hull, and a creepy hospital in Doncaster. You can visit Sweeney Todd’s barbershop in Pontefract, whilst escaping a war-time prison in Retford.
Although most of our escape rooms are suitable for all ages (we only have one room that has an age limit) we understand that sometimes, you want an escape room that is clearly designed for families to enjoy, with no jump scares, nothing too creepy, and a storyline that you could potentially see on television on a Sunday afternoon on Channel 5.
We should first make it very clear to you, that although the following rooms are more family friendly themes, they are still just as challenging as our other escape rooms, so teamwork is a huge part of the fun or escaping.
So what rooms do we recommend most for Families who are visiting Enigma Rooms?
On a beautiful sunny day, you skip to the end of your garden to read, escaping the boredom of the real world. As the sun beats down on you and the shadows grow longer, your eyes grow heavy and you drift off to sleep. Falling and falling you remember this sensation, and awake with a start just before you hit the ground. As your eyes adjust you realise you are back in the surreal landscape of Wonderland. Something is wrong your friends are in hiding all you know is that you need to find them.
Find them before the Red Queen arrives to put an end to you once and for all. Off with your head! A distant sound of marching creeps into your ears as you realise that it’s not reality you need to escape, it’s Wonderland.
A Wicked game full of extraordinary twists and turns. A great game for families, but also still challenging for escape room enthusiasts. Just a quiet day on your farm when all of a sudden, a Twister appears and rips up your entire home, luckily you land in one piece, but you’re not in Kansas anymore, you’re in an unusual little place known as Oz. Can you navigate this munchkin filled land and return home?
Investigate the legend of Catequil and hopefully find out what happened to your father. Your father, Lord Sebastian Ashcroft, is a world-renowned archaeologist. Six months ago he set off on his latest expedition to the depths of South America. His mission was to search the tomb of the legendary Incan god, Catequil. Your last contact from him was three months ago. For this reason, you have decided to go to South America to find him.
An Aladdin themed adventure. Perfect for families, but still as challenging for enthusiasts. Enter the mysterious village of Kabara where there have been rumours of a long-lost artefact that legend says, whomever can get their hands on it, will have the course of their lives changed in a great way. Can you discover the wonderous lamp in time, before the magic fades?
A challenging yet delicious adventure for either families or escape room enthusiasts. This is an Award-winning game and has some very tasty puzzles within the game (Not literally, please don’t eat our game). Can you get yourself into the mysterious chocolate factory and unlock its secrets?
