Enigma Rooms Pontefract hosts an award-winning escape room with Escape From Oz. A great room for families but still challenging for enthusiasts. You’re minding your business in your farmhouse when one day, a twister takes you from your simple, dull life, to a wonderful land called Oz, can you return to the one place that is like no other, home.
Enigma Rooms Pontefract’s second escape room is currently being built, and will be a retelling of the infamous Demon Barber that is, Sweeney Todd.
You can find us at 3-7 Ropergate End, Pontefract, WF8 1JX. There are a few places to park near by, including on street parking, and council car parks.
Although the Escape From Oz room is located on the ground floor, there is a small step to access it and within the game itself, you may be required to crouch, duck or crawl.
Mainly yes. Our escape room at Enigma Rooms Pontefract is recommended for ages 8+ due to the challenge of some of the puzzles and the concentration required to complete them, although there is a clue system in all the rooms should you get stuck.. As always, anyone under the age of 16 MUST have an adult (18+) with them as part of the booking party.
