No, this game is for everyone. Although this game has theming and puzzles that are perfect for families, this game is still a challenge and is often listed as one of the best escape rooms in the country.

Escape From Oz has a recommendation of ages 8+ due to the challenge of some of the puzzles and the concentration required to solve them. Anyone under the age of 16 MUST have an adult (18+) with them as part of the booking party.
No! The limit is 6 bodies in the room due to fire regulations and insurance. If you have a larger party, we recommend splitting the group and playing multiple rooms at the same time.
There is nothing too physical within our games at Pontefract, but you may be required to duck, crouch and/or crawl for short period of times within the of the games. You are also never officially ‘locked’ into the rooms, so if you need to get out at any time, you are free to do so. If you require more specific details on any of our games, please feel free to contact us.
No! It’s a private party. Even if you just book with 2 people, it’ll only be you two in the room, we don’t put you with any strangers, and we also have NO live actors in our escape room in Pontefract.
Always a tough question, all our puzzles are different, some are easy, some are more challenging, but there is a clue system in all our rooms, so should you stumble and get stuck on a puzzle, you can get a hint to avoid too much frustration. Escape From Oz is a 7 out of 10 difficulty rating.
